TNMU received humanitarian aid from partners in Żywiec (Poland)
The director of Educational-Rehabilitation Centre which is a part of the Children Aid Foundation in Żywiec (Poland) Dr. Renata Błecha organized the collection of humanitarian aid for the needs of military and temporarily displaced citizens of Ukraine. Hospitals in Żywiec helped with the necessary medicines. Renata’s daughter, Dominika Błecha, escorted the humanitarian cargo to the border and handed it over to representatives of the Ternopil National Medical University.
Medicines, clothes, personal hygiene products, food for children and adults were donated by our teachers and employees to the needs of the Caritas Ternopil Charitable Foundation, which takes care of migrants. Sleeping bags, sleeping mats and many other things were handed over to the military forces.
We sincerely appreciate the help of our partners with whom we have been cooperating for many years.
The Volunteer Centre has been operating at Ternopil National Medical University since the beginning of the war.
