TNMU Student Organized a Party for Children from Ukraine in Finland
TNMU student organized a holiday for children from Ukraine in Finland. A member of the university volunteer organization “MISERICORDIA”, a student of the Faculty of Medicine Diana Storoshchuk went to Finland for the winter holidays, where her relatives are (see more here), and together with volunteers organized a holiday for Ukrainian children there.
On December 18, 2022, on the eve of Saint Nicholas Day, an event was held in the city of Turku, during which migrant children met St. Nicholas, visited various locations where they made New Year’s cookies, ekibans and lollipop candies to decorate the Christmas tree. Everything took place in the form of tasks, for which at the end of the event the children received gifts from St. Nicholas. Dances, sweets, interesting tasks, gifts and St. Nicholas distracted everyone present from everyday life and immersed them in a winter fairy tale.
