TNMU Continues to Teach the Civilian Population the Basics of Pre-Medical Care within the “LIFESTRAND” Project

On September 21, 2024, regular training of civilians was held in the simulation training center of TNMU as part of the international project “Training and Propagation of Emergency Aid Skills for Higher Education Institutions and Representatives of Communities Living in the Risk Zones of Hostilities in Ukraine and Georgia (LIFESTRAND)”  Erasmus+ programs.

The training participants were Ternopil National Pedagogical and Medical Universities students, Ternopil residents, and Melnytsia-Podilsky boarding school employees.

The training was conducted by instructors of the “LIFESTRAND” project – students of TNMU – Tetyana Benedyuk, Nazarii Krulyk, and Vitalina Sulyma, who presented the theoretical basics and demonstrated the implementation of skills in the main areas of providing pre-medical assistance to the injured. In their feedback, the students highlighted the necessity of acquiring such knowledge and skills for our country’s civilian population during wartime.

We thank our young “LIFESTRAND” project instructors and training participants for their high motivation, desire to learn, and pleasant atmosphere.
