Lycee Pupils Mastered First Aid Skills
On February 8, 2025, as part of the LIFESTRAND project under the ERASMUS+ program, “Training and Dissemination of Emergency Aid Skills for Higher Educational Institutions and Communities from Combat Zones in Ukraine and Georgia,” instructors from TNMU organized a first aid course for students of Ternopil Classical Lyceum.
During the session, participants familiarized themselves with theoretical foundations and had the opportunity to practice using modern equipment. Practical skills were honed through situational scenarios. The training topics included basic life support, control of critical bleeding, transport immobilization of fractures, and assistance in airway obstruction cases.
The Junior project instructors – TNMU students Nazarii Krulyk, Yuliana Skip, Vitalina Sulyma, and Viktoriia Miroshnyk, conducted the training. At the end of the course, a debriefing session was held, where students shared their positive impressions of the training.
