TNMU Students Project “International Saint Nicholas”
Winter is a fabulous time for everyone, when we believe in miracles, dreams and good the most. It is also time of tangerines, bright colours on Christmas trees and gifts. Students of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University always know how to make a holiday for themselves and others.
Thus, on December 21, 2020, the project “International St. Nicholas” was implemented. Anyone could take part in this event. The project was meant for exchanging gifts between Ukrainian and international students.
The facilitator of the event, Iryna Shchipska, a fourth-year student of the Faculty of Medicine, said that the project was largely intended to find new friends among students from different countries and lift their spirits during these quarantine days. Gifts are a nice bonus and an occasion for warm memories.
“We are here to share our joy. Despite we are adults already I believe that everyone wants to receive a gift,” Iryna commented.
She also emphasized the need to share joy and support each other every time, because at this time it is really important!
