The Centre to Counter Discrimination and Harassment has been established in TNMU

In order to support learning, working and living environment free from discrimination and harassment, the Centre to Counter Discrimination and Harassment has been established in Ternopil National Medical University. TNMU’s policy prohibits such discrimination and harassment that concerns all university community.

On behalf of TNMU, the Commission for Prevention and Fight against Sexual Harassment at TNMU, the Commission for Prevention and Fight against Discrimination at TNMU, the Bullying Commission at TNMU respond to all allegations of discrimination and harassment, as well as cases of bullying (harassment) and take action to ensure that everyone is treated according to the “Policy on Prevention and Fight against Discrimination at TNMU”, the “Policy on Prevention and Fight against Sexual Harassment at TNMU” and other legal requirements. Charges may take account of prejudiced attitude regarding race, religion, colour, sex, gender identity or expression, age, national origin, pedigree, physical or mental disability, ATO veteran status, marital status, property status, sexual orientation and/or other legally protected characteristic features.

A victim of these actions can fill out an on-line form on the website of our university (https://opdh.tdmu.edu.ua/forma-zvernennya) and describe the case of discrimination or harassment they experienced. The university takes urgent measures, including case consideration and, if necessary, investigation and taking actions to stop discrimination, sexual harassment, bullying and/or persecution. The procedure of TNMU, together with disciplinary action, will depend on proven and unbiased facts and circumstances.
