Seminar on Medical Biology was Held within the “MedGradient” TNMU Student Project
On March 8, 2021, the team of the TNMU student project “MedGradient” held a seminar on Medical Biology. It was aimed to study fundamentals of medical biology more comprehensively on topics like cell morphology, microscopy techniques, human chromosomes etc. The team of trainers managed to deliver the best of their knowledge to the attendees, make them get interested in this subject, and facilitate better studying.
27 students attended this workshop in order to deepen their theoretical knowledge in this subject. The event was held following the epidemological measures.
The participants also trained working with a microscope and studied the specimens of tetracocci, candida and species of different microorganisms.
This workshop was prepared an delivered by Nana Kwame Appiah Nkansah Denis (group IM-430), Khan Mohammad Shumayel Athar (group IM-430), Prajal Gangappa Tippannavar (group IM-342).
The student Nirali said that he totally enjoyed and learned a lot in a comfortable environment. The style and the knowledge of the presenter Nana Kwame Appiah Nkansah Denis were really amazing and highly professional. He also appreciated the event organization.
“I had a great experience being a part of the “MedGradient” workshop. Their efforts in teaching and organizing the event are countless and too appreciable. The best part of it is that all my doubts were cleared and I have got to learn a lot more. Their way of presenting things is really effective and worth learning,” said Shikha.
The project team plans to organize a number of seminars and trainings for TNMU students this semester. They invite those, who want to help others better learn medicine, to join as team members, speakers and coaches. Suggestions should be submitted to Khan Mohammad Shumayel Athar (group IM-430) or Prajal Gangappa Tippannavar (group IM-342).
