TNMU Professor Presented the University at the Conference of the European Association of International Education

On September 26-29, 2023, the 33rd annual conference-exhibition of the European Association of International Education (EAIE) was held in Rotterdam (Netherlands). This event was one of the largest, with more than 6,700 delegates from 100+ countries worldwide representing more than 600 higher education institutions, academic alliance teams and groups, British Council, IELTS, Coursera, Advanced HE, Erasmus+ offices and many others.

Professor Oksana Shevchuk represented TNMU as an invited speaker at the 06.01 Spotlight on Ukraine. Leadership, strategy and policy session, which took place on September 28, and was devoted to the discussion of challenges and problems that the Ukrainian community faced after the invasion of the Russian Federation, and efforts aimed at strengthening and restoring the education and research sector of Ukraine, in particular, through international partnership and joint initiatives.
The head of the section was Angela Stashchak from Cormack Consultancy Group. The speakers were Oksana Seumenicht, program director of MSCA4Ukraine and representative of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (Germany) and Oksana Shevchuk.

The session discussed issues of support and development of Ukraine and Ukrainian higher education in the areas of strategic partnership, scientific collaborations and cooperation in the field of higher education.

Numerous representatives of higher education institutions of Ukraine were able to attend the conference which was made possible thanks to the support of EAIE, DAAD and BMBF.
