TNMU Professor Participated in the International Scientific Event “EventX Life Sciences – Crossroads in Healthcare”

From October 6-11, 2024, the Head of the Medical Informatics Department, Dmytro Vakulenko, participated in the international scientific event “EventX Life Sciences – Crossroads in Healthcare”.

This event was dedicated to natural sciences and the intersection of research, clinical practice, market innovations, and health. The trip was organized as part of the grant program “Ukraine Ready4EU No. R4EU-175.” Participating in “EventX Life Sciences 2024” aimed to discuss opportunities for partnerships and technological approaches and solutions with healthcare experts.

EventX Life Sciences hosted over 250 participants from 12 countries worldwide this year. The forum included individual meetings and a conference where experts and professionals could discuss current and future solutions for prevention, diagnosis, treatment, patient care, and healthcare facility management.

The Head of the Medical Informatics Department at TNMU, Dmytro Vakulenko, held meetings with representatives of clinics and universities, where they discussed potential collaboration in the following key areas:

• Treatment and rehabilitation of those affected by military actions;
• Digital personalized medicine in tele-diagnosis and tele-rehabilitation.

Additionally, there was a visit to the IRCCS “Don Carlo Gnocchi” (Italy) clinic, where they discussed the possibility of joint participation in the consortium when submitting applications for EU grants.
