TNMU Representatives Participated in a Scientific Conference
On March 6, 2025, the Department of Higher Nursing Education, Patient Care, and Clinical Immunology faculty attended the regional nursing conference held at the Ternopil Regional Clinical Hospital. The event brought together nursing professionals from the city and the region.
The conference agenda included discussions on:
- Principles of effective team management for achieving success.
- Establishing a service department in healthcare institutions.
A particularly engaging presentation was delivered by Roman Huk, an assistant at the TNMU Department of Emergency and Simulation Medicine, titled “Sudden Cardiac Arrest at the Hospital Stage.” His talk, one of the conference’s highlights, addressed crucial aspects of providing medical assistance to patients experiencing sudden cardiac arrest within a hospital setting.
Special attention was given to diagnostic algorithms, effective resuscitation methods, and the role of teamwork in managing such critical situations. A key component of the presentation was an analysis of modern clinical protocols that significantly improve patient survival rates and reduce post-resuscitation complications.
Additionally, the conference showcased practical research findings and simulation training results, demonstrating how medical professionals can refine their skills in real-world conditions.
This platform for open dialogue not only highlighted the challenges and demands of the profession but also actively involved medical practitioners and educators in shaping changes that directly impact healthcare quality. Collaboration between healthcare institutions and academia is essential for the effective transformation of nursing, fostering a new level of professionalism and innovation in healthcare. Given the rapid advancements in the medical field, such partnerships are crucial for maintaining high standards in patient care.
