Eid ul-Fitr at Ternopil National Medical University (TNMU) was a joyous and spiritually enriching event. The special Eid prayer was led by Hamish Walid Mohammed, a 5th-course medical student and Imam of the TNMU mosque, bringing together students and the local Muslim community to mark the end of Ramadan with devotion and gratitude.

TNMU has always embraced cultural diversity, ensuring that all students feel valued and respected. The Eid celebrations reflected the university’s commitment to inclusivity, where people from different backgrounds come together in harmony. Events like these reinforce the values of faith, friendship, and mutual respect that define TNMU’s international student community.

After the prayer, students exchanged Eid Mubarak greetings, emphasizing the spirit of unity and brotherhood. They then prepared and shared traditional regional cuisines, featuring dishes from their diverse cultures. This gathering strengthened friendships, preserved religious traditions, and created a home-like atmosphere for students celebrating far from their families.
