Baltic-Polish School of Immunology (BPSI 2025) will take place in Vilnius on May 12-13, 2025. Organized together with Baltic and Polish Immunological Societies and kindly supported by the European Federation of Immunological Societies (EFIS)/European Journal of Immunology (EJI), this event aims to promote regional collaboration of immunologists with a particular focus to a dialogue between researchers and medical doctors, between young and experienced immunologists. The regional Schools of Immunology are expected to become traditional events organized every year in a different neighboring country. The trend started in 2023 with the ABC7 Summer School in Tallinn (Estonia) followed by the School of Immunology “50 Shades of Immunology” in 2024 in Bialystok (Poland).
The scientific program of BPSI 2025 will cover 4 broad thematic areas: Host-pathogen interaction, Inborn errors of immunity, Sterile inflammation and autoimmunity, Tumor immunology. Plenary lectures will be given by experts from different European countries, while early career researchers are encouraged to present posters and short talks. Thanks to EFIS-EJI support, travel bursaries for junior immunologists will be available.
